Med. Diet and beauty

The Med. Diet has many healthy and nutritious foods to offer. These types of foods work therapeutically not only to promote better health but also beautiful skin, body, hair and nails. The Med. diet contains foods such as olive oil, canola oil olives, legumes, nuts, fresh fruit and vegetables, wonderful dairy products and much more. The Med. diet is an excellent diet regimen to practice since it is low in saturated fats, high in monounsaturated fats and also high in dietery fibre.

How does the Med diet provide beautiful skin, body, hair and nails? I will try to explain. Med. diet foods are very rich in natural antioxidants. Antioxidants combat inflammation. Inflammation in the skin causes fine lines, wrinkles, dilated pores, puffiness saging and blotchiness. It also can present more cellulite to one’s body making for an uneven figure. Inflammation can even reach hair and nail shafts producing dry, brittle hair and nails.

When one practices eating a valuable, healthy diet like the Med. Diet, one can see instant results on one’s skin. The skin becomes more radiant, youthful and fresh. One’s body will have less cellulite which one will promote a more harmonious body, healthier hair and nail growth.
